Patrick Houghteling, co-founder of Fully Known Ministries with his wife Teresa, has worked in Jordan and Syria with a military and contracting background that opened doors most ministers never get near.
He visited a Syrian orphanage housing 23 kids, including ISIS orphans born to Yazidi women. One girl, 12 or 13, had untreated rheumatic fever destroying her heart valves. No money for surgery. When Patrick prayed over her, she wept, because it was the first compassion anyone had shown her.
