Faith is not faking it until you make it. Nor is it passively waiting for God to drop something in your heart either.
Jesus showed the two components working together at the fig tree (Mark 11). He said to speak to the mountain, and to believe in your heart without doubting. Speaking is the activation. But speaking without deep heart-belief produces nothing.
Romans 10:9-10 confirms the same pattern for salvation itself.
