God’s promises are not a waiting list. They are already yes.
Second Peter 1 tells us God has given us “great and precious promises” so we can share His divine nature and escape the world’s corruption. Jesus confirmed in John 17:14-16 that we are not being removed from this world. We are called to live differently in it, right now.
Here is where it breaks down: God provides the yes. We bring the amen. That part is ours.
