Want to know what God is like? Look at Jesus.
Jesus told His disciples in John 14, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” That means every healing, every conversation, every act of compassion in the gospels shows us God’s character directly.
John says God is love. Paul defines love in 1 Corinthians 13. Put them together and you get this:
God keeps no record of wrongs. God never fails.
His goodness knows no end.
